Kilele cha Mdahalo wa Kitaifa wa Mwitikio wa UKIMWI

Tarehe 7 Septemba 2023, mdahalo wa kitaifa ulioandaliwa na Baraza la Taifa la Watu Wanaoishi na VVU Tanzania (NACOPHA) kwa ushirikiano na Tume ya Kudhibiti UKIMWI Tanzania (TACAIDS) ulifanyika katika ukumbi wa mikutano wa Jakaya Kikwete Convention Center jijini Dodoma. Tukio hili liliratibiwa chini ya uratibu wa Ofisi ya Waziri Mkuu na lilikuwa na lengo la kuimarisha ubia na ushiriki wa jamii katika mwitikio endelevu wa UKIMWI nchini ili kutokomeza maambukizi mapya ya VVU ifikapo 2030.

Mdahalo huu ulihudhuriwa na viongozi mbalimbali, wakiwemo wawakilishi kutoka serikalini, mashirika yasiyo ya kiserikali, wadau wa afya, na wanaharakati wa UKIMWI. Mgeni rasmi alikuwa Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, Mhe. Dkt. Samia Suluhu Hassan, ambaye aliweka msisitizo mkubwa kwenye umuhimu wa ushirikiano wa jamii na wadau mbalimbali katika mapambano dhidi ya UKIMWI.

Ajenda kuu ya mdahalo huu ilikuwa ni kuimarisha ubia na ushiriki wa jamii katika mwitikio endelevu wa UKIMWI. Mijadala ilijikita katika maeneo mbalimbali ikiwemo:

Mdahalo huu ulifanikisha mambo kadhaa muhimu:

  1. Kujenga ufahamu na kutoa elimu kuhusu umuhimu wa ushirikiano katika kutokomeza VVU.
  2. Kushirikisha jamii na wadau mbalimbali katika mijadala ya wazi kuhusu changamoto na mafanikio katika mwitikio wa UKIMWI.
  3. Kutoa mapendekezo kwa serikali na wadau wengine kuhusu mbinu bora za kufikia malengo ya kitaifa ya kutokomeza maambukizi mapya ya VVU ifikapo 2030.

Tukio hili limeonyesha wazi kuwa ushirikiano wa jamii na wadau mbalimbali ni muhimu sana katika mapambano dhidi ya UKIMWI. NACOPHA, kwa kushirikiana na TACAIDS, itaendelea kuimarisha jitihada hizi na kuhakikisha kwamba maambukizi mapya ya VVU yanatokomezwa ifikapo 2030.
