In a significant move to combat the rising HIV/AIDS infections in Tanzania, the National Council of People Living with HIV in Tanzania (NACOPHA) and the Zanzibar Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS (ZAPHA+) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership marks a unified effort to bolster ongoing initiatives aimed at fighting AIDS across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, NACOPHA Chairperson Leticia Kapera stated, “Through this unity, we are looking at areas where we can collaborate so that both governments can recognize the importance of our union.”
This alliance is set to show the impact of HIV interventions and reinforce the commitment to reducing infections and improving the lives of people living with HIV in Tanzania.
