On Tuesday, 27th August 2024, NACOPHA welcomed representatives from DARE and Frontline AIDS Management, UK, for a courtesy meeting held at the NACOPHA Board Meeting Room. This pivotal meeting was aimed at introducing both organizations to each other and laying the groundwork for future partnerships in areas of mutual interest. The delegation from DARE and Frontline AIDS was led by their Director of Partnership, while NACOPHA was represented by key members.

- Introduction of Partnerships and Support: The meeting began with an overview of the existing collaborations and partnerships supporting ongoing projects. - Acknowledgements and Way Forward: In concluding the meeting, NACOPHA and DARE expressed their enthusiasm for future collaboration. It was acknowledged that a strong partnership between the two organizations would create avenues for scaling up HIV-related projects, particularly those focusing on empowerment, stigma reduction, and access to healthcare. Both parties agreed to schedule their first collaborative meeting to discuss the practical aspects of formalizing this partnership.
Invitation to DARE’s Report Launch:
Following the courtesy meeting, NACOPHA was formally invited to DARE’s Report Launching event, which took place on Thursday, 29th August 2024. This invitation marks the beginning of a fruitful partnership between the organizations as they continue to work towards shared goals in addressing the challenges faced by people living with HIV.
NACOPHA remains optimistic about the opportunities for collaboration and looks forward to the first official meeting, where concrete steps will be outlined for future joint projects.
